Terms of Use

By accessing or using the Joino web app at joinosport.com (the "Service") operated by AICO Tech L.L.C-FZ (Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, UAE, license 2646735.01, hereafter "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

The Service includes the official JOINO mobile app. The iPad court display, watchOS companion and local-network scoreboard remain roadmap products until an active release expressly includes them.

1. The Service

Joino is a community-first padel network. We help players find matches, join events, track scores, and review venues across the UAE. A directory listing or a player-created match does not reserve a court. Ordinary court bookings are made directly with the venue. A paid JOINO event is a separate organised experience; its confirmed venue, inclusions and price are shown before payment.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to create or use a player account. You confirm your eligibility through a self-attestation. JOINO records its timestamp and policy version and does not request your date of birth. JOINO also records the timestamp and version bundle for these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Community Guidelines when you accept or acknowledge them. You also confirm that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Account & conduct

• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
• You agree not to harass other players, post unlawful content, attempt to break the Service, or scrape data programmatically.
• Public match text and venue reviews are screened for abusive language, contact details, and external links. Players can report content and block other players from community flows.
• Repeated no-shows or community guideline breaches can block new match creation, match joins, and event registrations. Serious safety breaches can lead to account suspension.
• The published Community Guidelines form part of these Terms.
• You can delete your account from Profile, Edit profile, Delete account. Access is revoked immediately and the authentication record is permanently purged after the seven-day safety window.

4. Events & payments

Where a JOINO event offers secure checkout, AICO Tech L.L.C-FZ is the organiser and merchant, and Stripe processes the payment. The total price is shown in AED before you pay. Venue and activity suppliers deliver the services described in the event. A place is confirmed only after the payment and available place are verified. An enquiry, browser return or temporary checkout hold is not a confirmed ticket. You can check the order in Your event ticket.

Cancel through Your event ticket at least 48 hours before the scheduled start for a full refund. Within 48 hours, your place is released and a refund becomes due if it is resold to a paying replacement. No ordinary refund is due for a no-show. If JOINO cancels or materially changes the event, you may receive a full refund. Refunds return through the original payment method; processing and bank posting times may differ. Contact Support if the recorded refund needs attention. These rules do not limit mandatory consumer rights, including remedies for deficient services.

Digital memberships

Free remains free. Plus and Pro offer the benefits listed for your plan in the app. iPhone subscriptions are purchased through Apple; the App Store sheet shows the actual local price, billing period and renewal terms. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled through Apple subscription settings. Restore purchases is available in Membership. Apple handles billing and refund requests for its purchases. Deleting JOINO or your JOINO account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Event tickets are separate.

Earned Plus month

The launch reward requires 1,000 eligible organic XP and three completed matches with confirmed attendance. Each player may explicitly claim one calendar month of Plus once. The reward starts when claimed, costs nothing, requires no payment card and does not renew automatically. XP and rank are retained. If you already have active membership, the reward remains available for later rather than replacing that access. Fraudulent activity and fabricated participation do not qualify. Membership never buys a playing level, rating or exemption from safety controls.

5. Score data & sharing

Linked scores require opponent confirmation before they count toward verified statistics or Padel DNA. Practice scores remain outside verified statistics. A public score link is created only after a saved result and becomes visible when you choose to share it. You can request removal of a score by writing to us.

6. Game Plan

Game Plan provides optional, profile-backed suggestions after you select Generate. Its output can be incomplete or inaccurate and requires your review. It does not change your level, Padel DNA, profile, availability, or match records. It does not provide medical, injury, legal, or professional coaching advice. Provider availability, quotas, and safety controls can temporarily prevent generation.

7. Intellectual property

The Joino name, logo, app design, and software are owned by AICO Tech L.L.C-FZ. User-generated content (profile info, reviews, scores and match photos) remains yours; you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host and display it on the Service. We may hold, hide, or remove public content when automated checks or community reports indicate a safety or guideline concern. Upload match photos only with the right to share them and the consent of visible participants. Match Memories remain within the authorised match album; a shared score link does not publish them.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Padel is a physical sport; you play at your own risk. We are not responsible for injuries, equipment damage, or disputes between players or with venues.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or AED 100, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or harm the community. You may stop using the Service at any time.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), without regard to conflicts of law principles. Courts of the DIFC have exclusive jurisdiction.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on this page and, where appropriate, by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
