Share a real view of the venue.

These rules apply when community venue photo uploads are available in your JOINO account. Participation is optional. You can share photos independently of a venue review or star rating.

What to share

Share relevant photos of courts, facilities and venue spaces. Use photos you took, or photos you have permission to share on JOINO. Identifiable adults must agree to appear. Keep children, private documents, contact details, licence plates and other sensitive or personal information out of your photos. Follow the venue’s photography rules.

Your choice, before each upload

The system photo picker lets you choose specific images. Confirm your right to share them, the consent of identifiable adults and the absence of children or private information. Add an optional caption. Submit up to three photos at a time, each under 5 MB, in JPEG, PNG or WebP format. Up to three photos may await review across your account. Additional limits help prevent spam.

Private until reviewed

Pending images are available to you and authorised moderators. A human moderator checks relevance, quality, rights and safety before publication. We verify and re-encode the file, removing embedded EXIF and location metadata. Approved community photos appear in the venue gallery to signed-in JOINO members who can access that content. They do not replace the venue’s curated cover.

Remove or report

Use Your photos to withdraw a pending photo or remove one you shared. Use Report photo on another member’s image to request review. A reported photo is hidden from new gallery requests while moderators assess it. Private preview links expire shortly; already downloaded or externally saved copies may persist.

Storage and cleanup

Abandoned upload reservations expire after 15 minutes and enter automated cleanup. Original uploads are queued for removal after a moderation decision. Approved, sanitised copies remain until you remove them, your account is deleted, or moderation removes them. A reported sanitised copy remains private for review. Failed cleanup jobs are retried. Restricted safety reports and audit records may be retained to resolve disputes and comply with applicable obligations, as described in our Privacy Policy.
